Our program for 3-year-olds provides a nurturing, play-based bilingual learning environment where children build the social, emotional, language, and early academic skills they need to thrive.
Each classroom is led by two bilingual educators, including a native Spanish speaker and a native English speaker. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our teachers encourage children to explore, ask questions, build relationships, and learn through meaningful experiences.
Using the research-based Creative Curriculum, children develop skills in both Spanish and English while strengthening their creativity, independence, confidence, and love of learning.

Our program for 4-year-olds prepares children for a confident and successful transition to kindergarten through high-quality, bilingual early childhood education.
Through our partnership with MECK Pre-K, children participate in extended-day classrooms led by bilingual educators and supported by the Creative Curriculum and Reggio Emilia-inspired practices. Students learn together in a diverse classroom environment where Spanish, English, and multilingualism are celebrated.
Through purposeful play, exploration, and language-rich experiences, children strengthen their early literacy, math, social-emotional, and bilingual communication skills while developing the independence and confidence they need for kindergarten and beyond.
Our 2025-2026 Research and Evaluation Report found that:
Academic and cognitive proficiency increased from 31% to 63%.
97% of students demonstrated strong social-emotional skills by year-end.

our Expansion Program
In order to serve the growing population of Spanish-speaking families in Charlotte, we partner with Alliance Center for Education. In their centers we have classrooms with our teachers who teach our curriculum. This allows us to expand our reach across the city. Currently, we have CBLC classrooms in:

- Alliance Center for Education – Stephanie Jennings: 3320 N. Sharon Amity Road Charlotte, NC 28205
This partnership lets us build, test, and perfect our early education model so we can replicate it with other high-quality, 5-star preschool centers.
